Zonegreen Depot Personnel Protection Systems (DPPS)

DPPS^TM allows the movement of vehicles in and out of rail depots to be controlled at an increased rate and with ease, while mitigating the risk to staff in what is deemed to be a potentially dangerous working environment. Staff are physically protected from unauthorised vehicle movements by powered derailers. It is only possible to lower the derailer, and authorise a vehicle movement, when all staff are clear from the road and any third-party equipment is locked in a safe position.
